I am a person who thrives on creativity, I’m just not happy unless my mind is at work. As a consequence, I devote myself to my creative endeavors, whether it be directing feature films, documentaries or music videos or investing my time in my new found love, the art of pornigami.

And while I chose the name pornigami for my artwork, it is far from pornography.  Some of the most famous pieces of art history exist within the realm of the classical nude.  With pornigami my goal is to bring a contemporary twist to this art form.  The human body is intriguing, it comes in all shapes and sizes, it bend’s, fold’s and twist’s with precision much like the ancient art of origami.

The image of a simple folded crane was my inspiration, how could I turn this into something more complex.  I created a constraint for myself whereas I could only use the basic form of a two dimensional triangle, just like the angular folds of the crane that inspired the vision in my mind.   And it was through this process that pornigami was born.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy creating them.

I occasionally do custom work and commissions depending on my schedule and the subject matter of the piece being commissioned.
